10X Las Olas Walk

I ran into an outgoing employee of this building as she was moving out. I mentioned how nothing works in the building and her response was “yeah, why do you think I’m leaving this place?” It says a lot when their own house employees want out of the building. For what this place charges, you think that things wouldn’t be broken as often as they are. The elevators are always out of service which is problematic for how this building is designed. At one point, just 1 of 5 elevators were in operation. Doors are regularly broken too and which is simply unacceptable for the price this failed dystopian experiment goes for. Instead, the managers here seem more content to spend that money bringing in overpriced food trucks — a ridiculous choice for a building that touts itself as being just steps from all the restaurants and bars on Las Olas. Meanwhile, the tenants here view this building more as a college dormitory. From the wannabe DJs performing well into the night to the people drunkenly crying and vomiting in the lobby, 10X Las Olas Walk will transport you back to your neighbors’ “glory” days. UPDATE RE Response from Management: Well you should be aware since these are complaints that have been lodged in surveys that we receive routinely via email. It is clear that these are not effective ways to communicate with management so at least now you are finally aware. As far as the elevator contractor goes: might I suggest a new contractor? The South Tower (which is where the parking garage is) regularly has one elevator down and has had only one working elevator for two weeks. That’s a massive inconvenience and has forced tenants to take the stairs to and from their cars. The fact that we can’t seem to go an entire day without an elevator going out does not instill a great deal of confidence in this company’s ability. That I should have to remind your maintenance crew of legal liability to entice them to make repairs further brings into question whether your residents ought to trust you. To any prospective tenants reading this: find yourselves a place that doesn’t waste your rent money on shoddy repairs and marketing gimmicks.

THINK TWICE BEFORE MOVING HERE!! Worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. The lack of upkeep between the building and amenities is the worst ever, not to mention you only get excuses from management when you communicate your concerns. Dirty windows, dirty gym, unkept bathrooms, nasty stairwells and homeless people sleeping in the lobby just to name a few. There is 0 management presence on the property and no security EVER walking the property. It might look cute on the web but once you start to really look you’ll see what a dump this place really is. In addition please hope your fob never stops working because I am locked out of my apt and no one answers the emergency maintenance line after hours. I warn you now this property is a joke!!!
